Facebook has announced a radical overhaul of it’s user profile pages which incorporates a Timeline feature, effectively displaying your life in social media (or Facebook at least!). See the video below for a teaser.
If it lives up to it’s initial promise this is going to be a very impressive response from Facebook just days after Google opened full access to it’s new social network, Google+.For example it’s interesting to see that Places are now embedded into the new look Facebook profile, just as Google has been placing more emphasis on it’s own Google Places.
We will be particularly interested to see the impact on Facebook Pages for businesses and organsiations and whether these profile designs will be next to get an upgrade.
